MEET LISA
Scott Design Studio is a full-service interior design firm specializing in high-end residential design and detailing. Founded by Lisa Scott, the studio is known for its hands-on, highly personalized approach, creating bespoke environments that are as functional as they are beautiful. Every project is carefully tailored to reflect the lifestyle, personality, and vision of each client.
Lisa’s passion for design began at just 14 years old, when she was given free rein to redecorate her childhood bedroom in upstate New York. After several years of travel and exploration, she pursued formal training at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. While studying, she had the rare opportunity to apprentice with the legendary Naomi Leff, later refining her craft at Bruce Bierman Design and serving as Design Director at Alene Workman Interior Design for eight years.
In 2012, Lisa launched Scott Design Studio, bringing together her years of expertise, industry insight, and timeless design sensibility. Today, the studio delivers sophisticated, comfortable interiors that elevate everyday living—transforming houses into homes where clients can truly thrive.

My family and I had the incredible good fortune to work with Lisa while remodeling our home. Our renovation took 10 months, completely redesigned our house inside and out, and began the day I gave birth to our third child, so to say I needed someone to run the project is a substantial understatement. At every point in the project, Lisa's professionalism, attention to detail, and exquisite taste made our work not only run smoothly but also be a completely delightful experience. Even after design meetings that would go on for hours, Lisa would still manage to catch the smallest mistake made by other members of our construction crew. Additionally, she had never worked with this particular construction crew before, and she stepped in with complete ease and grace and in such a way that they all wanted to work with her again. We feel so fortunate to have found Lisa; she truly made the house of our dreams become a reality.
